Why have I been refused access to a lounge?

We want to make sure members have a great experience but in some instances a lounge reaches capacity, especially at peak travel times or when there have been delays in the airport. Lounge staff also have to ensure there is available capacity for those members that have reserved seats and are yet to arrive.  As Priority Pass access is subject to availability this can lead to members being refused entry on occasions.

In this event there could be other options available so please check your Priority Pass App for alternative lounges, bars, restaurants or sleep pods which may be available instead. It may also be possible to join a waitlist with the lounge so that you are called back when there is available capacity.

Prior to travelling, when you're choosing the lounge or experience, be sure to check the opening and closing times on the app or website and in some locations, you will also have the option to pre-book space for you and your guests.

The lounge and experience teams are working hard to ensure you have a stress-free and enjoyable journey. Please be kind and respectful to all airport staff you cross paths with.
