I am entitled to complimentary lounge access as part of my payment card benefits, however why did I receive a message saying I am being charged?

For those Members who receive Priority Pass as a benefit of your payment card, you may see a request for pre-authorisation payment made against your eligible card when entering the lounge location. This is to validate your card's status and helps to prevent fraud. The pre-authorisation charge amount varies per programme.  The pre-authorisation amount is released immediately.

Note that every card swipe through the device triggers pre-authorisation, even for voided or unaccepted lounge visits.
